"Where painters become neighbors and neighbors paint with friends"

Online Studio

Our first stop just has to be ToleTown's Online Studio! Here members take a variety of wonderful classes each month, find links to color conversion charts, materials for monthly classes as well as a complete archive of over 150 past lessons and projects and more!

Most online classes give students a written lesson or video clip to download and leave you basically painting on your own, but here at ToleTown your teacher is actually presenting the class to you LIVE, in real time!   You are provided with step by step photos throughout the class, along with video clips; and are able to enjoy interaction with other students and the teacher just as in a "real" paint class!  We call it a virtual tole shop for that very reason!

Many of our visitors find it amazing that we all sit around our computers and paint, but it's really not that difficult!  We have found that by setting a folding table or tray next to the computer desk students are able to enjoy the class and feel "safe" with water and paint distanced from the keyboard! :o)

If the timing of a live class just doesn't fit your schedule you can still enjoy the project as you have full access to all class materials as well as the class logs.  And, since your teachers live right here in town, you are free to email them with questions at any time!

alone your membership would pay for itself over and over again,
averaging out to a cost of just over $1.50 per live class!
What a deal!

As we said, the studio is only one of many great places
along Main Street, so follow us and we'll continue our tour!!!
